Week 2: Goin to Goa

Hello!
I'll make this entry kind of brief, for me anyway.
Ryan and I spent more time than desired in Mumbai but we left Sunday night on an overnight train to Goa after a long day of running errands. One of the last things we did in Mumbai was visit the Taj hotel to see if I could get a wax-job done there to be beachworthy. It cost me about 25-30$ CAD for a full leg and bikini wax at the most expensive hotel in the city, eeeeeee! My first time waxing went well too, I nearly fell asleep.

Alright boys, wake up, I'm done talking about body hair removal. We got on our sleeper train, which was not so bad at all. We ended up with this nice girl from Alaska/Oregon named Emma as our bunk-mate. We chatted all night and when we arrived at our destination, invited her to hang out with us in Anjuna since she would be staying for a few days not too far from us. We spent yesterday night at a bar overlooking the beach, and today we went to Old Goa to look at churches/ruins, and the very slowly decomposing corpse of St. Francis Xavier. Yum, who feels like lunch! We took a million pictures and then came back home. Tonight we'll eat, watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean, and then get to bed early to be wide awake for the famous wednesday anjuna market for gift shopping!!!

Tomorrow we may go see dolphins and crocodiles, or we may just lay down and get a tan, who knows! Other noteworthy points: today was the first day I felt nauseous, but its not that bad. Ryan left his camera in Mumbai and they wont send it to us here so we wont have any pics on the blog for a long time. Good news is that we'll get his camera back before heading to London/Paris.

Alright kiddies, keep eating your carrots and wait patiently for my next entry, it may be a while if Ryan and I decide to forget the rest of India and stay in Goa for 2 months...heh heh. Can you believe it's week 2 already??
